1 in 3 people on the planet are Muslim.
0.05% of Christian workers in the world are focused on reaching Muslims.
Why is there such a discrepancy?
Much of the reason is because we, especially we as Americans, do everything we can to shield ourselves from "tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, [and] sword" (Rom 8:35).
But is that what Jesus said being His follower was about?
No.
Whoever loses his life for Me will save it.
He promised that all those things will not separate us from His love, not that we would be protected (or should seek to be protected) from them. We are absolutely secure in Him; therefore, we can suffer and suffer well for the sake of His name and His glory.
